Cheese Dollars

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 oz very sharp cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/8 t red pepper
  • 1/4 t salt

Cream butter and cheese. Add remaining ingredients. Shape into 0 1/2 inch rolls. Wrap in aluminum foil and chill well. Remove foil and slice into 1/8 inch slices. Bake at 400 degrees about 6 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen dollars.
