Chicken Puffs

  • Chicken, ham, or tuna salad
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup shredded swiss cheese

Boil water in saucepan. Add butter to boiling water. Add flour and a dash of salt. Stir vigorously and continue cooking until mixture forms a ball that does not separate. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add egg and beat vigorously until smooth. Stir in cheese.

Drop dough onto greased baking sheet using 1 level teaspoon dough for each puff. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove puffs from oven; cool and split. Fill with your favorite chicken, ham, tuna or other salad.
