Ham Puffs

  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 t baking powder
  • Dash salt
  • 10 to 12 slices.of sandwich bread Mayonnaise
  • 1 4 1/2 oz can deviled ham Paprika

Combine cream cheese, egg yolk, baking powder, and salt. Mix well until smooth. Remove crust from bread and cut about 4 rounds from each slice. Spread each round with mayonnaise and then a thin layer of deviled ham. Spoon cheese mixture on ham and sprinkle with paprika.

These can be frozen at this point or baked in a 375 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes until puffed and brown. Serve immediately. Makes about 45 puffs.
