Oatmeal Bread
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 t salt
- 2 Toil
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg yeast
- 5-6 cups whole wheat flour
Mix oats, salt, oil, molasses, and water. When cooled to tepid, add yeast and dissolve. Mix in flour, knead and let rise. Form into two loaves, let rise again. Bake 20 minutes at 350°, turn oven to 325° and bake 20 more minutes.
