Banana Split Cake
Crust:
- 1 3/4 sticks margarine melted
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 2 T sugar
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
Mix ingredients together and press in the bottom of a baking dish (sprayed with Pam). Bake at 325° for 30 minutes (time may vary, check for browning). Cool.
Filling:
- 2 sticks margarine, melted
- 1 box confectioners sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 t vanilla
- 1/2 t almond flavoring
- About 4 T flour
- 4 Bananas
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1 large carton Cool Whip
- Chocolate Syrup
- Cherries
Beat margarine, sugar, vanilla, almond flavoring, and flour five minutes at high speed. Add more flour if needed – you want a filling that will be substantial for serving when cool.
Cover bottom of crust with sliced bananas. Top with pineapple and then filling. Cover with Cool Whip and drizzle chocolate syrup over top. Garnish with cherries.
