Chocolate Pound Cake
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 t baking powder 4 heaping T cocoa 1 cup milk
- 1 T vanilla
Cream together oleo and Crisco. Gradually add sugar. Mix well and add eggs one at a time, beating all the time. Sift together flour, baking powder, and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Add vanilla. Grease and flour large tube pan or large loaf pan and bake in preheated oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 325-350 degrees.
