Dressing For Fresh Fruit

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Juice from a small can of pineapple chunks
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cool whip

Beat egg well. Combine egg, pineapple juice, water, cornstarch, sugar, and lemon in microwave container. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes stirring about every 20 seconds. (Sauce should be thick and smooth.) Cool completely. Fold in cool whip and pour over fruit just before serving.
