Chess Pie

Chess Pie

  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 T (heaping) flour
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 T (heaping) butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • Nutmeg

Mix all ingredients except nutmeg well. Pour into unbaked 9" pie crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 300-325° until a knife inserted comes out clean (about an hour).
