Pecan Pie I

  • 2 unbaked pie crusts
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup white Karo
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 4 T Half & Half or milk
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 2 T oleo or butter
  • 2 cups pecans (chopped)

Beat eggs until mixed (not fluffy). Add brown sugar, Kara, salt, milk, and vanilla; mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shells and dot with butter. Spread chopped pecans on top; bake at 350° for about 45 minutes or until center is firm.
