Chicken & Dumplings

  • Chicken
  • Flour
  • Salt, Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Bay Leaf
  • Water
  • Bisquick

Flour, salt, and pepper chicken. Sear until brown. Add boiling water to cover chicken. Add oregano and bay leaf and cook slowly until done. Make dumplings with Bisquick (use some of the broth from the chicken to make the dumplings). Drop by teaspoonfuls into broth. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes. For rolled dumplings, roll out Bisquick dough and cut in strips.
